Blast in east Baghdad kills 2

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) - A roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad killed two people and wounded seven others Monday, the Interior Ministry said.

The explosion took place about 8:30 a.m. in the Fadhaliya intersection, and damaged a number of cars.

Among the wounded were employees with the Housing and Reconstruction Ministry, an official with the Interior Ministry said.
