NAIROBI, Kenya (CNN) — Kenyan immigrations officials were questioning the author of a book that is highly critical of Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. presidency, police in Kenya said Tuesday. Jerome Corsi, who wrote “The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality,” was invited by immigration officials to answer questions on “a few issues,” said Kenyan police spokesman Eric Kiraithe. He said it was not a police matter. Obama’s father was born in Kenya. In 2004, Corsi wrote “Unfit for Command,” a book that was critical of the Democratic presidential nominee in that election cycle, Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts. |
