ST. PAUL, Minnesota (CNN) - Sen. John McCain will formally accept his party's nomination for president Thursday night - a day after his vice presidential pick, Sarah Palin, delivered a rousing speech at the Republican convention in St. Paul. McCain, who is to speak during the 10 p.m. ET hour, is expected to lay out his vision for America. Former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham and McCain's wife, Cindy, will all have significant roles in the lead-up to McCain's speech. Other politicians scheduled to speak include Florida Sen. Mel Martinez, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Tennessee Sen. Bill Frist and Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback. |
