ORLANDO, Florida (CNN) — The mother of a missing toddler was arrested and charged Friday with forgery, fraudulent use of personal information and petty theft, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. Sheriff’s detectives led Casey Anthony through a crowd of protesters who had gathered outside her parents’ home. The protesters cheered as Anthony — wearing a t-shirt with daughter Caylee’s picture and the words “Have you seen me?” — was taken to a waiting unmarked police car. Anthony has been charged with child neglect, making false official statements and obstructing a criminal investigation but was out on bail. Anthony reported her three-year-year old daughter missing in July, a month after the last known sighting of her. |
