LONDON, England (CNN) - Three men who were detained and questioned over an alleged threat against British Prime Minister Gordon Brown have been charged with terrorism offenses, Lancashire police said Thursday. The three were arrested on August 14 at Manchester Airport and nearby Accrington, in the north of England. The Lancashire police statement makes no mention of Brown but says terrorism charges have been filed against Ishaq Kanmi, 22, Abbas Iqbal, 23, and Ilyas Iqbal, 21, all of Blackburn, England. |
