Fay soaks, batters east FloridaPosted: 11:53 PM ET
FORT PIERCE, Florida (CNN) - Blustery Tropical Storm Fay slogged across eastern Florida late Tuesday, dumping heavy rain on much of the peninsula, the National Hurricane Center said. Fay is expected to enter the Atlantic Wednesday where it will likely strengthen into a hurricane before making a return visit to the Sunshine State, somewhere along the northeastern coastline, according to the hurricane center. |
