Mississippi bus crash kills 3

(CNN) - A bus carrying more than 40 passengers visiting a Harrah's casino in Mississippi overturned Sunday morning, killing three, state police said.

The bus overturned at the intersection of Highway 61 and Casino Strip Boulevard near Tunica on its way to an airport nearby, said Sgt. Leslie White of the Mississippi highway patrol.

White said several of the 43 on board were injured, though he couldn't say how many. The passengers were from South Carolina, he said.

Authorities said rainy weather could have contributed to the incident, but the accident is still under investigation.
