2 troops die in Afghanistan

(CNN) - A service member in the U.S.-led coalition in southern Afghanistan died Monday from injuries received in a roadside bombing, the coalition said.

The incident occurred in Helmand province on Sunday, where British troops and U.S. Marines have been fighting the Taliban.

Also Sunday, a soldier from the NATO-led force in eastern Afghanistan was killed in fighting. The incident took place in Khost province.

The nationalities of both service members have not been released.
