KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) — Barack Obama arrived Saturday at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan on the first stop of his tour of the Middle East and Europe, aimed at boosting the U.S. Democratic presidential hopeful’s foreign policy credentials, his campaign confirmed.
