BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — Two back-to-back blasts killed six people, including four police officers, in the town of Falluja early Wednesday morning, authorities said. The first bomb went off about 6:30 a.m. outside a bank in central Falluja, a Sunni town located about 35 miles (60 km) west of Baghdad in Anbar province. When a crowd gathered near the site of the blast, a second bomb exploded causing most of the casualties, medics and police said. Eighteen others, including eight police officers, were wounded. |
