Mugabe government hints at sharingPosted: 12:40 PM ET
HARARE, Zimbabwe (CNN) - President Robert Mugabe may be willing to discuss a power-sharing government with his rival, a party spokesman said, but not until after Friday's run-off election that his political opponents and the international community have dismissed as a sham. "When the process is done tomorrow, as a country, we have a win that will include all other players," Bright Matonga, a spokesman for Mugabe's ruling ZANU-PF party, told CNN. "This is the reason why my president he says, 'Look, Zimbabwe is too big a cake to eat for ZANU-PF, bring everyone in. As a country ... we can mend bridges." |
