Suicide car bombers hit MosulPosted: 05:54 PM ET
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) - A suicide car bomb detonated near a police station in central Mosul late Tuesday evening, killing at least two people, including one child, and wounding at least 70, Mosul police told CNN. The U.S. military issued a statement saying 90 civilians were wounded in the attack and that a nearby coffee shop was destroyed. An Interior Ministry official put the wounded number slightly lower, at 57, but gave the same death toll. The dead included a child and a policeman, police said. Police and civilians, including women and children, were among the wounded. |
