Suicide bomb kills at least 15, wounds 35 in Baquba Sunday

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) - A female suicide bomber attacked a crowded area in central Baquba around noon Sunday, killing at least 15 people and wounding another 35, according to Baquba police.

The attacked appeared to target a police patrol near the governorate building and a restaurant frequented by Iraqi Security Forces, police said.

Police officers were among the casualties, according to the Diyala Military Operations command.
