Obama says future of Jerusalem part of negotiationPosted: 02:07 AM ET
BRISTOL, Virginia (CNN) - A day after saying Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of Israel, Sen. Barack Obama told CNN on Thursday that the city's status is among issues that Israelis and Palestinians should negotiate. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee told AIPAC, an influential pro-Israel lobbying group, on Wednesday that Jerusalem "must remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided." The next day, he told CNN in an interview that "it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues," including Jerusalem. |
