(CNN) — An apparent tornado took out a historic bridge and injured at least six people in southern Indiana Tuesday evening, the National Weather Service reported. The storm swept through Rush County, about 45 miles southeast of Indianapolis. It destroyed the Moscow Covered Bridge, a Rush County sheriff’s office dispatcher told CNN. The bridge, built in 1886, is in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Deputies were going door-to-door early Wednesday, checking on damages. |
