From CNN’s Paul Courson WASHINGTON (CNN) — Demonstrators hope to use a local court in the District of Columbia to show what they feel is a lack of justice for prisoners held by the United States at a facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. About 30 protesters wore orange jumpsuits and black hoods covering their faces Tuesday as they marched from the Supreme Court to D.C. Superior Court to face trial on charges stemming from a January protest at the high court. “We are keenly aware today that in the five months since our arrests, we have made it further in the criminal justice system than the men we stand on behalf of have in over five years,” said Matt Daloisio, among those charged with demonstrating in areas off-limits to protests at the Supreme Court. |
