At least 7 shot in New York

NEW YORK (CNN) - At least seven people were shot just after 10 p.m. Monday along one of the busiest thoroughfares in Harlem, police said.

The victims were shot along a six-block span on Lenox Avenue, from 126th Street to 131st Street, police said.

Emergency crews took victims to St. Luke's Hospital and Harlem Hospital. Their ages and conditions were not immediately available.
