BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — A suicide car bomber in a western Iraqi province killed seven people, including a 6-month-old girl and four policemen, and wounded nine people on Friday, an Iraqi Interior Ministry official said. And an Iraqi photographer, working for Reuters news agency, was hospitalized after he was beaten by Iraqi police at the bombing scene, Iraqi and Reuters officials told CNN. The incident took place in Falluja, the predominantly Sunni Arab city in Anbar province. The bomber detonated the explosives near a police station. Among the wounded were a 2-month-old baby, other civilians and five police officers. |
