BEIJING, China (CNN) - About 2,000 troops have been dispatched to work on a dam near the epicenter of Monday's earthquake, state-run media reported.
The Zipingku Dam is in "great danger," state-run Xinhua News Agency reported.
State-run China.org reported that the 7.9-magnitude earthquake caused "severe cracks" in the dam.
