Blasts in Jaipur, India, bear similarity to another deadly attack in IndiaPosted: 04:05 AM ET
NEW DELHI, India (CNN) - The near-simultaneous bomb attacks in the ancient Indian city of Jaipur on Tuesday bear an eerie resemblance to another deadly attack two years ago. At least 61 people were killed and 216 wounded when eight bombs tore through crowded markets and a packed Hindu temple in the northwest Indian city on Tuesday. Police picked up six suspects Wednesday for questioning. The eight bombs went off within a 12-minute span and occurred within 500 meters (0.3 mile) of each other. Police defused a ninth bomb. |
