Shooting at elementary school forces evacuation of students

(CNN) - A shooting at the Notre Dame Elementary School in Portsmouth,
Ohio Thursday morning prompted the evacuation of all the students, but no
students were injured in the incident, a secretary at the school told CNN.

"All the students are safe," she said before hanging up the phone.

Another secretary, this one at the Notre Dame High School, said the
situation is over but she could not give details about who was shot or what
their condition was.
