3 members of Iraqi family killed in coalition raid

BAGHDAD (CNN) - Three members of an Iraqi family were killed on Tuesday
during a U.S. military raid in northern Iraq, said police - describing an
incident that could be the second coalition operation over a week's time that
resulted in Iraqi civilian casualties.

Police in Tikrit told CNN that a father, mother and son were killed and
that four other people were injured in a raid on their house in the village of
Adwar, just south of Tikrit.

Coalition forces on Saturday accidentally killed nine Iraqi civilians and
wounded three others near the town of Iskandariya, south of Baghdad.
