MADRID (CNN) — Suspected Islamic extremists arrested a week ago in Barcelona were planning al-Qaeda style attacks in Spain, Germany, France, Britain and Portugal, according to an informant who “infiltrated” the group, Spain’s El Pais newspaper reported over the weekend. |
