Fiery crash closes U.S. border crossing in TexasPosted: 11:22 PM ET
(CNN) - At least two tractor-trailers crashed and burst into flames on the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge Thursday evening, shutting down the key U.S.-Mexico crossing point and killing at least three people, said ElsaSanchez, emergency management coordinator for the City of Pharr, Texas. According to Sanchez, at least three other vehicles were involved in the accident, with one of them going over the side of the bridge. Rescue operations are underway. Sanchez did not know when the bridge would reopen. |
